Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 200. Mix eggs and sugar together n beat well. Sift in flour n coco then stir in the hot water

Pour mixture into a prepared tin and smooth over evenly n bake for 7 to 10min

Meanwhile have in ready a sheet of Grease proof n sprinkle some sugar

Turn out the cake quickly into the paper and trim away edges. Place another sheet on top of the sponge and roll it up loosely using the sugared paper underneath as a guide. Leave it to cool.

For the filling. Put margarine in a bowl sift icing and add it gradually with a little milk creaming everything together

When cake cools.. Unroll then spread the cream then filly roll.

Serve with tea or juice enjoy.

I tried different recipes to make delicious Swiss rolls and finally I came up with this recipe. With this recipe, you will have a fluffy sponge and be able to roll easily without damaging. This sponge also doesn't dry out quickly. This time I wanted to use adzuki cream so I made a green tea-flavoured sponge.After adding the flour at Step 7, stir the mixture 50 to 60 times (if you get used to it, 80 times) and you will have a smooth sponge. I used Imuraya brand's sweet cooked adzuki beans. If the adzuki beans are too runny, microwave for 30 seconds to remove the excess moisture. For 29 x 29 cm [11.4 x 11.4 in] baking pan.
