Cooking Instructions

Slice grapefruit rind and toss in a pot with 2 cups of water and 1/2c of sugar.

Boil the grapefruit rind and sugar water until the rind has become gummy-like. (About 20 min)

Take out of stove, rinse under cool water get the extra syrup off of the grapefruit rinds.

Toss in a bowl with the remaining 1/2c sugar to coat and set it in a dehydrating rack or a baking sheet.

Dehydrate for 2 hours or until it isnt gummy to the touch anymore. Or, if using an oven bake at 250° for 2 hours or until it isnt gummy in texture anymore.

Remove from the rack/ sheet and enjoy. Store in airtight container. Consume within a week.
