Ingredients

  1. 10 slicesbacon
  2. 1 headfresh broccoli cut into bite size pieces
  3. 1/4 cupchopped red onion
  4. 1/2 cupraisins (substitute dried cranberries, if desired)
  5. 3 Tbspwhite wine vinegar
  6. 2 Tbspwhite sugar (omit, if desired - I find it too sweet)
  7. 1 cupmayonnaise
  8. 1 cupsunflower seeds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook bacon, drain, crumble and set aside.

    In a medium bowl, combine the broccoli, onion and raisins.

  3. 3

    In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar and mayonnaise. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss until well mixed. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

    Before serving, toss with crumbled bacon and sunflower seeds.

    Serve and enjoy!
