Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupsour cream(not a fan of yogurt)
  2. 1 cupfine diced peeled cucumber
  3. 1 tbspfresh minced mint
  4. 1 tbspfresh chopped dill
  5. 2large garlic cloves pressed
  6. Juice of 1 lemon(or to taste)
  7. to taste Salt
  8. 1 lblean ground beef or lamb
  9. 1small yellow onion fine diced
  10. 1medium golden delicious apple fine chopped (wait to chop it before it goes in the beef mixture)
  11. 1/2 cupraisins
  12. 2 tbspcurry powder
  13. 1 tbspbrown sugar
  14. to taste Salt
  15. 1 tspcayenne (optional)
  16. 4 tbspbutter
  17. Packpita, but I use the new half pita pockets

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix the first 7 ingredient and set in the fridge so the flavors marry

    Add the onion and ground beef to a skillet until the beef is cooked through. Add the apples, raisin, curry powder, brown sugar, 4 tbsp of butter and salt and cook until the apple are soft
