Ingredients

  1. 1 kgbeef chop
  2. 1 cupchopped onions
  3. 2 tablespoonvinegar
  4. 1 tablespoonginger powder
  5. 2 tablespoongrated scotchbonnet
  6. 1 tablespoonhoney
  7. 1 tablespoongarlic and blackpepper paste
  8. 2 tablespooncurrypowder
  9. salt
  10. 2 tablespoonketchup
  11. seasoning powder
  12. 2 tablespoonvinegar
  13. for the caramalised onion
  14. 2 cupssliced onion
  15. 1 cupsliced cucumber(remove the seeds)
  16. pinchseasoning powder and salt
  17. flour or corn flour to make a paste

Cooking Instructions

    Put meat in to a pot. Add ginger powder, salt and curry

  2. 2

    Add 2 cups water

  3. 3

    Add onion,scotch bonnet, garlic and black pepper

  4. 4

    Cover and allow to cook for an hour under medium heat.

    Remove the meat from the pot and set aside

  6. 6

    Add 2 cups of water, honey,vineger and ketchup to the pot

  7. 7

    Add seasoning,cover and allow it to boil

    Make a paste of cornflour

  9. 9

    Add to the pot and cook for 5mins.(untill lightly thick)

    Add the beef and stir

    Cover and cook for 10mins.

    For the caramalised onion:

    Add onion,cucumber,vinegar,oil,seasoning,salt, gingerblackpepper in another pot.

    Stir and cook for 10mins.
