Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 1/2 cupsrice
  2. 1/2 cupbeans
  3. 1/2 cuppalmoil
  4. 1 teaspoonlocust beans powder
  5. 3seasoning cubes
  6. 1/4 table spoonsalt
  7. 1large rice spoonfull of blend peppers
  8. 2large onions (Sliced)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash the beans and add 2 cups of water, Sliced onions in it to help cook it faster, boil for 30mins or less depending on the type of beans and how soft it is.

    In a separate pot, fry the red oil with onions, add in the blended pepper, onions and locust beans, fry ror 2_3 mins, then add 2 cups of water to the contents of the pot, add the seasonings and salt, let it boil.

    Add the boiled beans, wash the rice and add, stir and close the pot, let it cook for 30_40 mins, or till the water dries up and rice is soft, you can slice in onions on top and close the pot to let it steam for 5mins.
