I HATED bacon until I got pregnant with my fourth child and since then I’ve been eating a BLT almost everyday. I only use a couple strips of bacon because I like to add a ton of lettuce and tomato so it’s really fresh tasting and crunchy. I sometimes make ultimate BLTS and add on avocado, sliced chicken breast, deli lunch meat like turkey or salami and Swiss cheese. 😋 You can always double up the recipe if you want to make two sandwiches and it also pairs nicely with a side salad or any soup really. BLT sandwiches are a fast easy sandwich and I like to tell myself it’s healthy because all the veggies balance out the bacon. 😂🤣

Ingredients

One person
  1. 4-6bacon strips cut in half and cooked to desired crisp
  2. 1/4 cuplettuce or 1 leaf
  3. 2-3 slicestomatoes
  4. 2 slicesavocado (optional)
  5. 2 piecesbread or my favorite brioche bun
  6. Hidden valley ranch dressing

Cooking Instructions

    Cook bacon and then toast the bread or bun. I prefer brioche buns because they are very soft, fresh and have a nice buttery flavor that pairs well with the bacon.

    Place bacon on toasted bread or bun and top with bacon, lettuce, sliced tomatoes and avocado. Another couple options that are fabulous to add onto it is thinly sliced red onion, Swiss cheese and a thin sliced piece of chicken breast or some slices or deli turkey or salami meat.
