My love for this meal started right from my young age because this meal occurs on our food menu three times a week and everyone at home likes it. We mostly take it with tea but I prefer mine with custard or pap. #team6breakfast

My love for this meal started right from my young age because this meal occurs on our food menu three times a week and everyone at home likes it. We mostly take it with tea but I prefer mine with custard or pap. #team6breakfast

Cooking Instructions

    Peel potatoes and wash thoroughly with enough water

  2. 2

    Slice it and wash again then drain to remove excess water

  3. 3

    Sprinkle little salt to the spiced potatoes and stir all over

  4. 4

    Deep fry the sliced potatoes in oil till it's done

  5. 5

    Wash plantain and peel then slice it

  6. 6

    Add a pinch of salt to it and deep fry

  7. 7

    For the sauce, wash cabbage, onions, carrots, pepper and scotch bonnet with water

  8. 8

    Slice the cabbage, onions, carrots and grate the pepper and scotch bonnet with a grater

  9. 9

    Heat little oil and add the grated paste, fry for some minutes then add in the spiced vegetables and continue stirring till it's done

    For the egg you break into a bowl add a cube and sliced scotch bonnet and onion whisk then fry

  11. 11

    Serve with ur favorite tea, coffee, custard or any drink of ur choice
