Ingredients

  1. 2-3onions (depending on the size)
  2. 3big or 5 small habanero peppers (atarugu/atarodo)
  3. 2maggi star (or seasoning of your choice)
  4. Halfteaspoon of Oregano (optional)
  5. 1 teaspoonGarlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  6. 2 tablespoonsoil

Cooking Instructions

    Pound the atarugu to a rough paste. Slice the onions thinly.

  2. 2

    Put the oil in a pot and pour in the atarugu and onions.

  3. 3

    Add the seasonings and stir.

  4. 4

    Leave for 3 to 5 minutes on low heat (depends on how crunchy or soft you like the onions to be) then take off the fire. Eat with bread, rice or yam. I enjoyed mine with moimoi.
