Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsFlour
  2. 1/3 cupSugar
  3. 2 tspyeast
  4. 1/2 cupwarm milk
  5. 1large egg
  6. 3 tbspmelted butter
  7. 3/4 cuplukewarm water
  8. Salt (pinch)
  9. 1 tspnutmeg powder

Cooking Instructions

    Mix yeast and lukewarm water and set aside for 5minutes

    Whisk the milk, egg, sugar, salt and nutmeg powder then add to the yeast mixrure

  3. 3

    Add the AP flour into the mixture little by little until a soft dough is formed

  4. 4

    Turn dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover for about 2 hours or until dough doubled.

    Deflate the dough and remove from the bowl, then roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into 1/4 -1/3 inch thick and cut out into short rectangular shape

  6. 6

    Then let it rest for 10minutes before frying
