Ingredients

  1. 500 gFlour
  2. 80 gSugar
  3. 40 gMilk
  4. 1Egg
  5. 1 tbspnYeast
  6. 1 tbspnNutmeg
  7. 1-2 dropFlavour
  8. 11/2 cupWarm water
  9. Some pinch of salt
  10. 30 gButter
  11. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Weight out all d dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Sieve d flour into a clean bowl

  3. 3

    Add all d dry ingredients and mix

  4. 4

    Rub in butter, make well in d center of d flour pour in d warm water, egg, and flavour

  5. 5

    Mix 2gether into a smooth dough place on a flour table knead very well until free from sticking both to d table and hand

  6. 6

    Return to clean bowl cover with a clean cloth and allow to prove in a warm place

  7. 7

    Knock back place on a grazed table knead again an roll cut using doughnut cutter, cut into sizes as desired

  8. 8

    Fry on a moderate hot oil until cooked and golden brown in colour
