Palak paneer (english)

Cooking Instructions

Sort spinach leaves and wash properly and drain well with the help of a strainer.

Finely chop spinach leaves and keep it aside.

Heat butter in a kadahi add aesfoetida, green chilli and chopped spinach and cook till the raw aroma of spinach goes off. Keep it aside.

Now, heat oil in a kadahi, add cumins, red dry chilli. Let it crackle, add onion, ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and saute till it becomes soft. Now, add cooked spinach, salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Let it cool completely and then blend to a fine paste.

Then, again put the paste in the kadahi and add coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, fresh cream and paneer cubes. Cover and simmer cook for 2-3 minutes. Mix well and then serve hot with rice or roti.
