Ingredients

For 3-4 people
  1. 4 cupsrava
  2. 1/2 cupcurd
  3. 1/4 spoonbaking soda
  4. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  5. as per tastesalt
  6. 1small spoon oil
  7. 1pouch eno
  8. 1 bowlpigeon pea
  9. 1-2Tomatoes
  10. 2 tbsp oil
  11. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  12. 1/4 spoonfenugreek seeds
  13. 4-5curry leaves
  14. 1red chilli
  15. 5-7drumstick
  16. 2ladyfingers
  17. 1/4 cupmixed vegetable
  18. 1 tspturmeric powder
  19. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  20. 2 tsp sambhar masala
  21. 2 tbsptamarind pulp
  22. as per taste salt
  23. 1/4 spoongaram masala

Cooking Instructions

    Take one bowl and put curd and water in the rava, then for 15-20 minutes soak it. Then take one fry pan and put oil and heat it. Now add mustard seeds, salt and baking soda in it.

    Then add oil in the rava mixture. Now add eno in the mixture.

    Now spread oil in the idli maker and then add the mixture to it. Now let the steam come till then rest.

    Now wash the pigeon pea and soak it for half an hour. Then put it in the cooker. And now add salt, turmeric and water in the dal and boil it.

    Take one fry pan and put oil and heat it. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chilli. Then add tomato.

    When tomato are sautés add all the vegetables in it. Then add all the masala in it and water and let it boil for 2-3.

    Then add the boiled dal in it. And add tamarind water. And let it boil. And then off the gas.

    Healthy rava idli sambhar is ready.
