Ingredients

Preparation time-34hrs,Cooking time-20 mins

  1. For Idli:
  2. 1 cupUrad Dal
  3. 1/2 cupIdli Rice
  4. 1/2 cupRagi Flour
  5. as per taste Salt
  6. For Tomato Chutney:
  7. 3-4medium sized tomatoes
  8. 1/2 tspfenugreek seeds
  9. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  10. 1/2 tspasafoetida
  11. leavesFew curry
  12. 1 Tbspmustard oil
  13. 2-3Kashmiri Red Chilli
  14. 1 tspKashmiri Red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 TbspSambhar Powder
  16. as per taste Salt

Cooking Instructions

Preparation time-34hrs,Cooking time-20 mins

    For the Idli - in a bowl add Urad Dal and in another one Rice and in another one fenugreek seeds. Soak for 24 hours.

    Blend all together and make a batter. Add Ragi Flour, salt and stir.

  3. 3

    In the Idli tray grease and add with a ladle to all the bowls in Idli Tray. Steam for 5-6 mins. Set aside.

    For the Chutney - blend the tomatoes, red chilli, Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt until smooth.

    In a wok heat oil, add fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves, sambhar powder and add the tomato paste. Cook for 2 mins.

    Plate and enjoy.
