Homemade Fresh Pasta with Meat Sauce
I had dinner at an Italian restaurant last night with friends and it was delicious, so I wanted to make some fresh pasta for my son. I had just received some fresh tomatoes as a gift, and I thought they'd be perfect in a sauce, and so I made this meat sauce. My son happily ate it up.Knead the pasta dough well. It's best to let the pasta dough rest.Drain off the moisture from the ripe tomatoes before cooking the sauce. Recipe by Takashi mama

Curried Pasta (One Pan Dish)
My boy was hungry (no surprise there, he is a tween with a voracious appetite) and we ran out of steamed rice. So I opened the fridge and decided we had some ingredients to make pasta. I added Japanese curry powder for a mild kick. My boy and daughter love it and they asked for a second bowl.

Bibi’s “Everything Soup”
So, this soup is the result of a fridge cleaning: we took out everything in order to spot any “forgotten” ingredients, and upon looking at what we had, decided that there’s a soup that can be made with (most of) it all. It’s got protein, it’s got veggies, it’s got fats, it’s got carbs... it's got everything! And it’s a lot of tasty soup!

Simple Rice Pilaf in the Microwave
It was so hot and I didn't want to make anything, but I had to do dinner so I decided to just throw something together with what I had in the fridge.I made this recipe on the fly so there aren't really any tricks to it. I made this pilaf for my daughter so if you want it to taste lighter or stronger, please adjust the amount of soup stock you put in. If you're using fresh vegetables it's probably better to cook them for longer in the microwave, or cook them in a frying pan beforehand. Recipe by sneeuw
