Ingredients

  1. 2Karela/bitter gaurd
  2. 2Onion
  3. 2 tspCurry Leaves
  4. 1/2 tspRed Chilli Powder
  5. 1/4 tspTurmuric Powder
  6. 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  7. 3 SpoonJaggery (Gud)
  8. 2 tspTamarind (imli) Pulp
  9. 3 tspOil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Chop the Karela and Sprinkle 2 tbsp Salt over it keep it aside for 10 min

    Chop the Onion and pour the oil in a pan

  3. 3

    Put the CurryLeaves and the Chopped onion in the Pan and saute it.

  4. 4

    Squish the karela and put it in the Pan

  5. 5

    Frie the Karela and put the red chilli, turmuric and Garam masala with some salt. cover the pan.

  6. 6

    When the Karela is well Cooked, put the jaggery and tamarind pulp in the pan and again over the pan for few minutes.

  7. 7

    Now your Dish is Ready !!
