  1. 2 cupsSemovita
  2. 1/2 cupflour
  3. 1 tea spoonsalt
  4. 2tspn sugar
  5. 1ts pn yeast
  6. 1/2ts pn baking powder
  7. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sift semo, flour, yeast, baking powder, salt & sugar into a container, add little water & mix throughly to make a loose batter not like that one the fankaso not too thick then cover & allow to rise in a warm place.

    When the batter rises & increase in quantity to double or more then you heat your masa pan & add little oil in each hole then scoop the batter & add one by one after like 2 minutes you flip & remove when they are golden then repeat the process until batter is exhausted.

    You can serve with vegetable soup, stew or pepper soup. Kids luv it with sugar or honey. My kids will some times cut the middle add condensed milk to it & eat😁😀
