Easy, guilt free, sugar free halwa made out of dates. And just 3 ingredients. Can be had from babies to elders. Best sweet for diabetes patients. Have it in moderation if your sugar levels are low.

Ingredients

20 mins
Makes 4 cubes
  1. 1 cupPitted Dates
  2. 2 tbspGhee
  3. 2 tbspchopped Cashews & Pistachio
  4. 2 tbspCorn flour
  5. 1/3 cupwater
  6. 1/4-1/2 tspCardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak pitted dates in warm water for 10 mins to 30 mins until soft. Grind it to fine paste by adding little water used for soaking

  3. 3

    Add 1 tsp Ghee to a pan & dry roast the nuts. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Add 1 tsp ghee with Dates paste to a pan. Cook until it thickens. Add ghee if it turns dry. Needs less than 2 tbsp ghee in total.

    Add Cardamom powder & Corn slurry prepared by mixing corn flour and water.

  6. 6

    Add the fried nuts. Remove from heat once it starts to separate from pan.

  7. 7

    Delicious & healthy dates Halwa is done.
