Scallops with Cheesy Panko

I ate something similar to this in a restaurant. It was tasty, so I tried to recreate the dish. My family loved it. Ten scallops just weren't enough ^^

If you don't have any grated cheese, shred up a cheese slice, mix it with the egg and then coat with panko.
The scallops are sashimi grade, so you don't need to cook them right through. Recipe by Kyocchin

Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 10Raw scallops (sashimi grade)
  2. 3 tbspGrated cheese
  3. 1 dashless than 200 ml Panko
  4. 1Plain flour
  5. 1Egg
  6. 1Fresh parsley
  7. 2 tbspButter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix the panko and cheese together. Coat the scallops in the flour, egg and cheesy panko, in that order.

    Put the butter in a frying pan, and cook until browned. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with chopped parsley.
