My family loves chocolate chips so I decided to try using them in bread.

Try adding chocolate chips plus 40 g walnuts. It'll taste amazing, just increase the water content by 5 - 10 ml. Recipe by mio*.

  6. 4 grams☆Salt
  7. 160 ml☆Water
  8. 3 gramsDry yeast

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put all of the ingredients marked with ☆ in the bread maker. Put the chocolate chips and yeast in the special case and start the bread dough mode.

  2. 2

Remove the dough from the bread machine, punch it down and split into 10 portions. Roll into rounds and leave to rest for 10 minutes under a well-wrung dish towel. Each round should weigh about 60 g.

  3. 3

Re-mould the dough into rounds and put 2 each into a bread tin greased with vegetable oil or similar. Cover with a well-wrung dish towel and leave to rise a second time.

  4. 4

While checking how the bread is rising, preheat the oven to 190℃.

  5. 5

Once the dough has roughly doubled in size, bake for 13 - 15 minutes at 190℃. The baking time will vary depending on your oven, so keep an eye on the bread.

  6. 6

If you slice the baked bread like this it will look really cute.

  7. 7

You can make this bread in aluminium pans too.

  8. 8

You can also bake it as round bread. They came out perfectly round and very cute.
