When I ate a snack with orange peel in it, it was really good, and made me wonder what it would taste like in bread, so I thought up this recipe.

Please adjust the amount of orange peel and chocolate chips to suit your tastes.
You can use kitchen scissors to cut in step 5 as well . Recipe by EnjoyKitchen

  3. 2 tbsp●Sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp●Salt
  5. 40 grams●Butter
  6. 1●Egg (medium)
  7. 150 ml●Milk
  8. Topping

  10. 1Chocolate chips
  11. 8Madeline cookie cups (11cm diameter)
  12. 1Beaten egg to glaze the buns
  13. 1Sliced almonds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place the ingredients into the bread maker and proceed up to the first rising. Kneading: 20 minutes; 1st rising: 40 minutes.

  2. 2

After removing the gas from the dough from step 1, divide into 8 equal portions and cover with plastic wrap to keep them from drying out. Let sit for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

Stretch the dough out into a square and scatter with finely cut orange peel and chocolate chips.

  4. 4

Roll it up, and close off the overlay and edges tightly.

  5. 5

Cut the rolled dough from step 4 into 4 equal portions with a knife, and place into the Madeleine cups.

  6. 6

Place step 5 on top of a pan, and cover with plastic wrap until it about doubles in size.

  7. 7

Coat with beaten egg for the finishing touch, top with sliced almonds, and bake in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes, then it is done.
