Cocoa Pound Cake with Tofu and Banana
I wondered if I could make a delicious cake with no oil and no egg. When I bought the tofu I also bought some other ingredients that had nutrition labels displaying the calories and tried out various amounts of each to make the cake.I recommend using a completely ripe banana. If the banana isn't completely ripe it's fine to add about 10 g of synthetic sweetener like Palsweet. This time I used a pack of tofu which was 120 g. The tofu is 70 kcal so the whole cake is about 600 kcal. Recipe by Harurabu

Easy! Matcha Chocolate Pound Cake
I had no time, but wanted to eat chocolate cake, so I made it myself!Mix very well! The butter will separate after adding the eggs, but do not worry. You must sift the matcha or else there will be lumps. For loaf pan: 18 x 8 x 6 cm [7 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in]. Recipe by toayuna

Easy Matcha Green Tea Pound Cake with Pancake Mix and Okara
To be honest, I wanted to eat matcha castella cakes, but I was too lazy.Mix reeeeeeally well when making the dough.Although this recipe uses granulated sugar, the powdered matcha makes it rather mild, to suit an adult palate. To please children, add more sugar or serve with condensed milk, brown sugar syrup (kuromitsu), or kinako soy flour. For 8 x 17 x 6 cm [3.1 x 6.7 x 2.4 in] loaf pan. Recipe by Kyaorihime

I was impressed when I made "crispy white chocolate matcha cookies" by "yuupippi" and wanted to use the same combination for a pound cake.In Step 1, try to whip ythe mixture to make it as light and airy as possible.Return your eggs to room temperature for Step 2. Matcha Pound Cake with Sweet Chestnuts
I made this matcha pound cake for a friend. It's an original recipe. It gets a great deal of use especially in summer, since I tend to go for sweets that won't fall apart at room temperature. It's perfect to have at a potluck when others are serving chilled items. After adding the dry ingredients, use a spatula (not a mixer) to mix; if you mix it too much, it won't rise very well. Trehalose is a refreshing sweetener. If you're using sugar instead, use a total of 90g. Recipe by Meronpan mama

Macrobiotic Banana Pound Cake With Rice Flour & Tofu
I wanted to make my favorite banana cake for a friend who is allergic to wheat. I tried various recipes, and finally came up with this delicious banana cake; so I posted the recipe. This cake uses the moisture of the tofu and banana, so there's no need for milk. You can also use maple syrup instead of honey, and kabocha squash instead of bananas. In Step 5, if you use a hand mixer from the start, the rice flour will splatter. Mix the ingredients together with a rubber spatula first, then switch to a hand mixer. The baking time may vary depending on your oven. After 30 minutes, if the cake looks like the top is getting too brown, cover it with foil. Recipe by fincafe

When I make simmered adzuki beans, I always make this cake. After the New Year's holidays, I have leftover kuromame, so I also add them to the batter.Once baked, remove from the pan while still warm and wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Macrobiotic Tea Pound Cake
I tried various recipes for making a macrobiotic cake, and came up with this idea to add a strong fragrance to the batter to make up for the lack of taste from being butter- or margarine-free.Brew the tea right away, so that it will be well-chilled when it's time to incorporate into the batter. You can use ice to chill it completely. The flour will become sticky if gets heated. The cake is easier to eat with ground tea leaves. Recipe by Usapanda recipe

Herbal Tea Pound Cake
I had some sweet flavoured tea, so I added to a pound cake batter. It took on a wonderful fragrance and tasted delicious, so I uploaded the recipe. This time, I used blueberry flavoured tea. Other flavours are nice and fragrant too - try apple, strawberry, peach, or orange.Make sure you bring the egg to room temperature before using. If it's cold, it won't mix well with the butter and will separate. If you leave the pound cake to rest a few days, it will be even tastier. It will be particularly moist if you wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it for 2 - 3 days.If you don't have flavoured tea, use a little more sugar. Recipe by Puru berry

Vegan Lemon Pound Cake
My colleague found this recipe on a French cooking blog that does not only publish vegan recipes. So, she thought there must be something about this cake. And, indeed, it is great! Simple to cook and delicious. Due to the amount of lemon peel the taste of lemon is intense. The only problem is that it easily shrinks when taking it out of the oven. Hope you will like it, too!

I used green tea powder to make a swirl cake. This recipe is different from normal pound cake recipes, but it really works! This is such an easy recipe without using an electric mixer. Moist Umeshu Pound Cake
I had leftover plums from homemade umeshu, so I added it into a pound cake. Similar with brandy soaked pound cakes, pouring umeshu over the finished cake made it fragrant. If you coat the chopped plums with flour in Step 4, the pieces won't sink to the bottom. In our oven, I baked for 40 minutes at 340°F/170°C, but adjust the temperature and baking time to your oven. For 18 x 8 x 6 cm [7.1 x 3.1 x 2.4 in] cake. Recipe by Usagi no Cima

Macrobiotic Pound Cake
I posted this recipe for my own reference. I wanted to eat a sweet snack that leaves me feeling full. The popular version of this pound cake uses a ripe banana. If the banana is a little hard, microwave it a bit before mashing it.If the sweetness of the banana alone is enough, omit the sugar.Use your choice of dried fruit. (Raisins, figs, etc.)You can substitute cake flour for the whole wheat flour, and regular milk for the soy milk. Recipe by Kamiko
