Ingredients

  1. 1 3/4 cupsflour
  2. 1/2 tspsalt
  3. 1/2 cupcanola or vegetable oil
  4. 2 tbspwater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a medium bowl, combine flour and salt.

  2. 2

    Stir in oil and water, mixing until just combined.

  3. 3

    Form dough into ball and place it in a greased pie pan. (You may also choose to roll out your pie crust on a floured surface if desired.)

  4. 4

    Press dough out evenly until it covers entire pie pan including the sides. Make sure you press it thin where the side and bottom meet. Crimp edges if desired.

  5. 5

    Pie Notes: To Prebake (only if your pie recipe requires it): Poke with fork and bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes.

So if you didn't know this already, we Southerners are pretty set in our ways when it comes to cooking certain dishes.We also don't measure seasonings.
