🍒 Cherry Cobbler 🍒

This literally took like 5 minutes to prep!
So my Mum gave me a can of cherry pie filling, and I’ve never made anything with that stuff cuz I’m not a cherry fan (unless it’s maraschinos lol). Soooo I wanted to make something warm and comfort dessert-ish for my fiancé and gave this a shot. I found this recipe on YouTube (Cathy W - Homemade Cherry Cobbler in minutes! -is the channel) and she seemed to look like she knew what she was doing. He said it was absolutely delicious and I needed to be making it again soon!! It’s super fast and super yummy, and it looks so pretty too! Enjoy!

Ingredients

45 min - 1 hour
  1. 1 cancherry pie filling
  2. 1 cupbisquick
  3. 1 stickunsalted butter; melted
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 1 tsppure almond or vanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

45 min - 1 hour
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350° F

  2. 2

I used a small square casserole dish that is oven-safe, and put the butter in there and microwaved it until it was melted. Set aside.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl mix together the bisquick, milk and vanilla or almond extract. (I used vanilla). It’ll be very thin, thinner than pancake batter.

  4. 4

Pour the batter into the butter evenly. *** DO NOT MIX ***

  5. 5

Spoon in the cherries evenly just letting them fall into the batter easily. *** DO NOT MIX *** Wherever the cherries lay just leave them. The bisquick will go over the cherries as it bakes.

  6. 6

It said to bake for 45 minutes, it it took my oven about 55 minutes. It smells so good when it’s done! The top will be colder brown when it’s done. I also spooned off some of the melted butter that had pooled on top.

  7. 7

Serve with a nice scoop of ice cream if you would like! Enjoy!
