Squid Stir-Fried with Buttered Potatoes

My children love butter and soy sauce. So, I made a side dish using this combination with the ingredients I had in the fridge.
Cook the potatoes in the microwave first before adding into the flying pan because the squid cooks faster. Recipe by Harapekoayu
Cooking Instructions

Peel the potatoes and chop into bite-sized pieces. Put them into a heat-proof container and microwave for 5 minutes.

Pat dry the squid, and cut into rings.
- 3
Heat some oil in a frying pan. Sauté the garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the squid and potatoes to stir-fry.

Add the ☆ ingredients into the frying pan. Season with salt and pepper. Dish it up, and scatter in some green onions.

Rich Stir-Fried and Simmered Potatoes
New potatoes taste great deep-fried, but I stir-fried them instead and then simmered them, and mixed in some mayonnaise...and they turned out rich and delicious!I don't bother to shave the corners off the potatoes. If they fall apart a bit while cooking they're just that much tastier. It takes 10 minutes to cook golf-ball sized potato pieces.
