Cucumber Pickles for Burgers

Commercially made pickles are too sweet or just not to my taste, so I decided to make my own.

Crack the peppercorns roughly. Add some ground black pepper too if you have it.
Add the red chili peppers to taste. The pickles are still delicious without them. Recipe by Rarumu

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Cucumbers
  2. 2 tbspWater
  3. 2 tbspVinegar
  4. 2 tbspWine vinegar
  5. 2to 2 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
  6. 1/2heaping teaspoon Salt
  7. 1/2 cloveGarlic (sliced)
  8. 2Peppercorns (crushed)
  9. 1Bay leaf
  10. 1/2Red chili pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Roll the cucumbers on a cutting board with salt. Wash the salt off and cut into any size you like. Blanch for 10 seconds in boiling water.

    Put all the flavoring ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Put the liquid in a plastic bag or container or jar with the pickles. Store in the refrigerator.

    You can eat the pickles after 1 day. If you cut the cucumbers up thinly, you can eat them in a few hours.

    Day 1. At this size, they probably should be pickled a bit longer.

  5. 5

    Day 2. Once they look like this, they're ready to be served.
