Simple & Easy Ginger Chicken Saute

I was thinking how I could make a cheap meal with chicken breasts. I replaced the usual ginger pork saute with chicken meat.

Step 1: Chicken differs in thickness in places. In order to cook evenly, butterfly the chicken, then cut into bite-sized pieces.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1Chicken breast
  2. 1to coat the chicken Katakuriko
  3. 1 tbsp●Soy sauce
  4. 1 tbsp●Mirin
  5. 1 tbsp●Sake
  6. 1/2 tsp●Sugar
  7. 3cm ●Ginger (from a tube)
  8. 1Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Make a slit in the center of the chicken breast. Slice to open up from the slit outwards to make thin slices.

    Season one side of the chicken with salt and pepper and the other side with katakuriko.

  3. 3

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the side with the katakuriko first. Once the chicken has browned, flip over.

    After both sides of the chicken are golden brown, pour in the combined ● ingredients. Simmer to reduce the sauce and toss the chicken pieces..
