Simple & Easy Ginger Chicken Saute

I was thinking how I could make a cheap meal with chicken breasts. I replaced the usual ginger pork saute with chicken meat.
Step 1: Chicken differs in thickness in places. In order to cook evenly, butterfly the chicken, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2: Coat chicken only on ones side, otherwise the sauce will become too thick. Recipe by Milis
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make a slit in the center of the chicken breast. Slice to open up from the slit outwards to make thin slices.
- 2
Season one side of the chicken with salt and pepper and the other side with katakuriko.
- 3
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the side with the katakuriko first. Once the chicken has browned, flip over.
- 4
After both sides of the chicken are golden brown, pour in the combined ● ingredients. Simmer to reduce the sauce and toss the chicken pieces..

This was created when I messed up a dish that I make all the time at home. This healthy failure was the root of my success!*Please take a look at steps 4 and 5.◆The thickness of chicken breast meat varies, so be sure to butterfly it and make cuts in it diagonally.◆This recipe calls for honey, so it does tend to burn easily. Please adjust your heat as necessary. Recipe by Onei cookpad.japan -

Since I had chicken...I think firm rice is more delicious than soft.So I recommend cooking for firm rice. It's also OK to use regular soy sauce! This is lightly seasoned, so adjust to your liking. Also check out my blog (Japanese only)http://tmnr14.blog17.fc2.com/ Recipe by Nico cookpad.japan
