Ingredients

50-60 servings
  1. 595 gmflour [950ml]
  2. 375 gmbutter [room temperature]
  3. 180-220 gmcaster sugar [150-250 ml]
  4. Pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the dry ingredients then add the butter and mix with hand to form a medium-hard dough. Knead for a good 5 mins.
    Do not melt the butter

    Flatten the dough smooth with your hand on a tray to 1cm thickness

  3. 3

    Gently cut into desired shape and poke with fork

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with a tiny amount of sugar and salt for taste

  5. 5

    Put in a 160-170°C (320-340°F) preheated oven and cook for 35-40 mins

  6. 6

    When taken out leave to harden as it cools
