My family taco recipe for brunch on days off.

-You can use a bread maker for step 10! It takes about 15 minutes on "dough mode."
-Adding avacados is also delicious.
-If you like it spicy, add more tabasco sauce.

Ingredients

  1. Taco Filling
  2. 200 gramsGround beef or pork
  3. 1/4Onion
  4. 1 cloveGarlic
  5. 1/2 tspCumin
  6. 1/2 tspCoriander
  7. 4 tbspTomato ketchup
  8. 1 tspJapanese Worcestershire-style sauce
  9. 1Tabasco sauce
  10. 1 dashSalt
  11. 1 dashPepper
  12. Salsa Sauce
  13. 2Tomatos
  14. 1/4Red bell pepper
  15. 1/4Yellow bell pepper
  16. 1/2Green pepper
  17. 1 tbspLemon juice
  18. 1 dashSalt
  19. Tortillas
  20. 150 gramsCorn flour
  21. 80 gramsBread (strong) flour
  22. 80 gramsCake flour
  23. 2 tbspVegetable oil
  24. 11 teaspoon Salt
  25. 180 mlWater
  26. 1Mixed cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    [Taco filling] Finely chop the onion.

  2. 2

    Finely chop the garlic.

  3. 3

    Pour oil into a frying pan. Fry the onions from step 1 and the garlic from step 2 until fragrant.

    Add the ground beef or pork to step 3 and fry until the color changes.

  5. 5

    Add the cumin, coriander, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, salt and pepper to step 4 and continue to fry.

    [Salsa] Roughly chop the red, yellow, and green peppers.

  7. 7

    Cut the tomatos into 1 cm cubes.

  8. 8

    Mix steps 6 and 7, add the lemon juice, salt and pepper, and mix.

    Cut the lettuce into 1 cm strips.

  10. 10

    [Tortillas] Add all the tortilla ingredients to a large bowl and knead until the dough comes together.

    Once the dough comes together, divide into 12-15 balls. Cover in plastic wrap so they don't become dry.

    Roll the balls from step 11 into 15 cm diameter and 2 cm thick circles.

    Fry both sides on a frying pan.

    Fold the taco filling, lettuce, salsa, and cheese into the tortillas.

    The taco filling, mixed cheese, and salsa sauce.

  16. 16

    If you put them on rice, you'll have taco rice.
