Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 1Lotus root
  2. 5Coarsely ground Wiener sausages
  3. 1 1/2Cucumber
  4. 1 1/2 tbspSake
  5. 1Salt and pepper
  6. 5 tbspMayonnaise
  7. 1/2 tspSoy sauce
  8. 1 tbspSesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the lotus root, cut in half lenghwise and slice thinly. Put the slices into a bowl of water. Slice the cucumber thinly and sprinkle with a little salt. Slice the sausages thinly.

    Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan. Add the sausages and stir fry. Drain the lotus root and add to the frying pan, and when it's evenly coated with oil, add the sake. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle in the soy sauce. Take out of the pan into a bowl to cool.

    When it has cooled down a bit, add the cucumber and mayonnaise, and mix well. Done! The lotus root is so crispy and good.
