Winter Melon Tea with Tapioca Pearls
A refreshing summer drink to beat the heat—winter melon tea is a great choice, especially when paired with chewy tapioca pearls.Tips1. You can adjust the concentration and sweetness of the winter melon tea by varying the amount of water to suit your taste.2. You can cook a smaller batch of tapioca pearls, just enough to consume in one day, as they lose their texture over time.

Maple and Brown Sugar Steel Cut Oats (Big Batch)
Some weeks, I'll make a batch of steel cut oats on Sunday night to have in the fridge for quick and easy breakfasts throughout the week. This is my variation of a classic flavor combo. You can adjust the amounts of maple syrup and brown sugar to your liking. Just be sure if you're making this to keep on hand, you use steel cut oats, as they reheat the best throughout the week.

Roasted Butternut Squash and Red Onions with Tahini sauce
Once I came across a video of food writer Julia Moskin preparing this dish. It has been my favorite way to prepare butternut squash ever since. It can be an appetizer or a side dish. It can be served warm or at room temperature. Rainbow Popsicles
I wanted to use the fruits I had left over from baking a fruit-filled cake to make something I could enjoy in the summertime. It's a super easy recipe that anyone can follow. The amounts listed here show what I used when I made my popsicles, but the amount of syrup you'll need will depend on how sweet your fruits are. Adjust the amount of syrup as you go, while testing out the taste. If you think the liquid mixture might be just a bit too sweet, it'll probably end up tasting just right once it's completely frozen. Passion Fruit Syrup
My friend sends me passion fruit every year from Ogasawara Island so I came up with this recipe to enjoy them.About 30 ml of juice can be extracted from one passion fruit, which will be about 160 ml after filtering. The recipe amounts depend on how much juice is contained in the fruit, so use the amounts only as a reference. Recipe by komaki97

Overnight Oats with Tofu and Black Sugar Syrup
Mix tofu and chia seeds with oatmeal and let it sit overnight for an easy breakfast. Top with black sugar syrup, roasted soybean flour, cacao nibs, and seeds for a delicious start to your day.The story behind this recipe:I ran out of yogurt and milk (soy milk), so I tried making overnight oats with tofu instead. It turned out delicious, reminiscent of a tofu cheesecake. Personally, I might prefer this over soy milk overnight oats.

Milk Pudding with Maple Syrup
I really got into the maple syrup-flavored milk pudding of a certain brand. I tried various combinations, and this is my favorite. I have this as a snack over several days.Even though the amounts of cornstarch and kanten are minimal, use a digital scale to measure (even just the slightest variation will change the final product). Use regular milk, not low-fat. Recipe by Yukiline
