Grapefruit Salad With Balsamic Vinegar

I wanted to eat something vinegary, so I made this salad with balsamic vinegar dressing.

I recommend using a liberal amount of black pepper.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1Tomato
  2. 1Kiwi
  3. 1/2Grapefruit
  4. 1 tbspOlive oil
  5. 1 1/2 tbspBalsamic vinegar
  6. 1/2 tbspHoney
  7. 1Black pepper
  8. 1Mesclun greens or other choice of greens

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the grapefruit in half and use a spoon to scoop out the fruit. Squeeze out the juice, too. Cut the tomato and kiwi into bite-sized pieces.

    Combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey in a bowl.

    Toss Step 1 and Step 2 together.

    Place a bed of the greens on a plate and top with the mixture. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve.
