Ingredients

  1. Yam
  2. Palm oil
  3. Spring onion
  4. fresh pepper
  5. Crayfish
  6. Smoked fish(washed and cleaned)
  7. Spinach or any green leafy vegetables
  8. Curry, ginger powder, garlic powder and seasoning
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Water as required

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the yam and cut into small cubes, wash and put in a pot

  2. 2

    Add sliced onion and grated pepper and your palm oil to the yam

  3. 3

    Add the washed fish (I like to pieces my fish in such a way that it is scattered inside the yam)

  4. 4

    Add all other ingredients except the vegetables

  5. 5

    Add little water just enough to cook the yam

  6. 6

    Cover the pot and place on fire and allow to cook

  7. 7

    Check and stir from time to time so that all ingredients will mix properly

  8. 8

    When the yam is soft to be smashed, use a wooden spoon to smash it till soft.

  9. 9

    Add the leaves and stir then cover to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
