Simple Dry Curry Simple Dry Curry
I was chopping onions with the intention of making meat sauce, but I suddenly got an urge for dry curry. Before adding the ○ ingredients, make sure to blend the ☆ seasoning ingredients well with the other ingredients. It makes the curry more fragrant. You can use any spice you like. I just added the ones I always use when I make curry. You can use ground beef instead of a beef-pork mix. I think this would be tastier made with fresh garlic, but since I made it for my husband's lunch, I went light on the garlic flavor by using roast garlic powder. I didn't want him to get garlic breath. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Hamama cookpad.japan -

Healthy and Tasty Dry Curry Healthy and Tasty Dry Curry
I've been making this minced meat curry ever since my daughters were small. Healthier and tasty with lots of veggies! Back in those days, I used to make them mild for my children, but now there are only adults at home, so I add 1 tablespoon curry powder to make it spicy. I usually make heaps of it to enjoy different variations.Lean beef has fewer fat and it's lower in calories, so the meat won't reduce too much when it's cooked. The onion and celery fall apart while cooking, so it's okay to coarsely cut them. You can't fix the curry when it becomes too spicy, so I usually use a modest amount of curry powder to adjust towards the end. You can basically use any kind of spices you have at home, and adjust them as you'd like. The vegetables release sweetness, so the unsweetened Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce and tomato juice work perfectly. For 4 to 5 servings. Recipe by Cha-miru cookpad.japan -

Just be careful not to burn it.Make sure to use curry powder (S&B's red-can curry powder, for example) and not store-bought roux. If you use a roux or curry flakes, it becomes too dense. Delicious Spicy Dry Curry with Shiitake powder Delicious Spicy Dry Curry with Shiitake powder
Shiitake powder boosts the Umami taste of other ingredients. And Shiitake enhances the aroma of curry.Shiitake has two kinds of aroma.1st aroma => Smelling with noses before eating.2nd aroma => Feeling of fragrance after eating. The 2nd aroma boosts aromas of spices.Tips and tricks:For the ground meat, you can brown it in the same way as for a hamburger patty. By frying the meat until its juices run clear, its raw odor can be eliminated.Adding a little water to Shiitake powder and waiting 10 minutes before using, maximizes 3x the Umami Flavor! One dry Tbsp equals one pre-soaked tsp, the same Umami boosting power. The drying and rehydrating process of Shiitake produces "Guanylate," a natural Umami energizer. Guanylate amplifies the Umami taste of all foods."Exploring Umami Using Shiitake Powder," Virtual Product Tasting on Sep 22 at Specialty Food LIVE! 2020Our presentation: youtu.be/__vQxdQmKnY Tony Sugimoto -
