I was excited to try out Pasta Queen's recipe Assassin's Spaghetti... And then 1) I didn't have enough chili flakes to create that wonderful spicy tomato sauce 2) but I did have goat cheese & parsley leftovers. Result: my version of the Assassin's Spaghetti with a twist of extra ingredients :)

Ingredients

45 minutes
2 people
  1. Tomato paste & tomato sauce
  2. Garlic
  3. Olive oil
  4. Chili flakes
  5. Goat cheese
  6. Parsley

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Prepare the ingredients.

  2. 2

Sauté minced garlic and chili flakes in olive oil. Add tomato sauce and salt, and let the sauce cook for 15 minutes. In a separate pot, create a broth of water and tomato paste.

Add spaghetti into the sauce, and let it cook. Similar to risotto technique, you’ll then gradually add some of the tomato paste broth into the pan with the spaghetti.

  3. 3

Add goat cheese & parsley before serving.

I started Cookpad to keep a better track of all the recipes that I've learnt through the years from friends and family around the world 🌎PS I'm notoriously bad at documenting the exact recipes, tips, and measures. I switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, metric vs imperial measurement system... I mostly end up differing from exact instructions anyway... 🤭 My cooking method: cook, taste, adjust, repeat ☺️🍲
