Chicken with Nanban Sauce Chicken with Nanban Sauce
I added nanban sauce to my favorite chicken!-Once fried, place the chicken into the tray with the vegetables and sauce while still hot. This will allow the sauce to soak into the chicken.-Bring the chicken to room temperature before deep-frying.-Cutting the chicken to an even thickness will prevent uneven frying.-If you cut into the thick section of the chicken, it will cook faster. Be careful not to burn it. Recipe by Cooking S Papa cookpad.japan -

Chicken and Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce Chicken and Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce
I had a lot of cabbage that I'd bought or gotten from people to use up so I came up with this recipe. Since then it's become a family favorite.Because you dust the chicken with flour before browning and then simmering it the umami is held inside and the meat won't fall apart. By sprinkling it with some sake for cooking, the gaminess of the chicken is gone and it becomes very tender. Adjust the amount of salt and water depending on how much cabbage you use. I use about 1/2 a tomato can of water. Recipe by Makichimu cookpad.japan -
Ginger Sauce Chicken in the Microwave Ginger Sauce Chicken in the Microwave
I love chicken breast as it's healthy and high in protein.I try to make various dishes using chicken breast so that my family won't get too bored with it.My family loves pan fried ginger sauce dishes and this recipe has been given their approval. It's not exactly ginger pork, but it's quite similar. The size of the chicken breast varies, so watch carefully when you start cooking in the microwave. The cooking time in the microwave varies depending on the temperature of the meat.300 g is a large portion of breast meat. The key is to let it sit for a while after microwaving to make it juicy. Large heads of Chinese cabbage can be quite a challenge to eat up! You'll find yourself eating more than you think.Add the leaf part of the Chinese cabbage at the end as it cooks quickly. When more thickness is required, add more diluted katakuriko. If it's too thick, dilute with hot water.Happo-jiru is a multi-purpose soy sauce-based seasoning commonly used in Aomori Prefecture! Stewed Calamari in Tomato Sauce Stewed Calamari in Tomato Sauce
Squid/ Calamari is one of my favorite things to eat. Only if it is cooked right. I used to buy squid for my pops a few times a year and he would make a delectable calamari in a tomato sauce. It was so tender and flavorful. Sadly, I never got him to write it down for me, but he did say just cook it a long time. What did that mean?I tried to make it myself a few times, since he passed. They all failed. Too tough. Too fishy. Etc, etc, etc. Finally, my wife suggested that we should just let it cook for a long time. Who am I to say no to my wife and dad?We did just that, with some carrots. Wow! Not what my dad made, but he would have loved it nevertheless. If you like it saucy, then one pound of squid is just find. But if like a touch of sauce, then use two pounds of squid. The carrots may seem to be an odd touch, but they add to the amazing flavor. Hopefully, you will enjoy this as much as we did.Enjoy! J.A.B. -

(Actually, I don't like it myself.)You can use boiled chicken instead of cooking it with the rice! The boiled chicken has a firmer texture, so choose whichever you like. Meaty and Juicy! Chicken Thighs with Salt-Leek Sauce Meaty and Juicy! Chicken Thighs with Salt-Leek Sauce
When I tried preparing chicken thighs as I usually do chicken breasts, it became surprisingly tender and juicy.I had been using the same sauce for pork and tofu for a long time, but this was the first time I tried with chicken.Don't forget to add coarsely ground black pepper to the chicken after adding the leek-salt sauce. (Freshly ground pepper is incredibly aromatic!)If you add loads of lettuce and other vegetables, they taste amazing with the sauce from the chicken. Recipe by Hokkori-no cookpad.japan
