Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Inspired by https://www.thekitchenmagpie.com/thick-chewy-peanut-butter-chocolate-chip-cookies/ with substitutes and reductionsThe original recipe calls for 120g of peanut butter, but I used 147g because I had extra and it turned out great. I like using chunky peanut butter for an extra nutty crunch.I find that using small chocolate chips is better for folding so I used a mixture of normal dark chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips (Laura Secord chocolate chips)I used a small ice cream scoop to help keep the dome shape of the cookie. Peanut Butter and Miso Cookies Peanut Butter and Miso Cookies
This is not your typical peanut butter cookie. Adding white miso provides salt and a very slight savory flavor that balances with the sweetness. The recipe is from The NY Times, but is tweaked to use less sugar in the batter and granulated sugar instead of Demerara sugar to coat the cookies before baking. I made smaller cookies than the original recipe specified, so they cooked in less time. I also skipped the step of banging the cookie sheets on the counter to flatten them part-way through baking. It seemed too fussy, and the cookies came out great without manhandling hot cookie sheets. 😉#Dessert #Christmas #Holiday #Autumn #Fall Chris Gan -
Colorful Microwaved Cookies Colorful Microwaved Cookies
I was looking for a recipe for microwaved cookies that even kids could make, and I tried this! I often used to make pancake mix this way too.The cookies will bake from the inside, so even if the surface isn't baked, they might still be done. Check on them and adjust the time between 3 - 3.5 minutes as necessary. For about 20 cookies. Recipe by ochikeron cookpad.japan -
