Add grated scotch bonnets, red bell pepper and tomato paste; stir fry for 30secs

Add a little water and stir in seasoning and spices; cook for some minutes

Serve with white rice, couscous etc

Hello everyone…hoping the weekend was a good one. It’s Monday, the beginning of a new week and hopefully a good one for everybody. This weekend was quite warm. sunny and just lovely to be outside. When I mean outside I just sat in the garden and caught up on some reading material on food blogging of course, and some other things that I needed to catch up on. I did a bit of gardening 🙂 and I just wanted to thank Luda from Plants and Beyond, for her advise in regards to adding coffee grinds into my small garden it was spot on! 🙂 All my herbs and salads flourished these past weeks, and we were able to have home grown lettuce in our salads!! hooraayyyy 🙂 Just fantastic!! I also planted Broccoli, this has become huge I am not sure if my little garden will be able to hold it. 🙂This is a Greek dish…with ingredients that I am hoping would exist in everyones fridge. I know that Carrots and Peas may not be the first choice for lunch or dinner, but if you add tomatoes and a bit of tomato paste well I am sure you will be going back for more. 🙂 It is truly a very simple recipe just a few steps and you’ve got a delicious and healthy meal for lunch or dinner or even a side dish.. 🙂


Stir Fried Wiener Sausages and Cabbage with Curry Sauce
This is a recipe my mom often made for me when I was little.The dish can become very spicy depending on the curry powder, so adjust accordingly while checking the taste. I had the best Spaghetti Bolognese of my life in Murano, Italy. This recipe from 'FoodNouveau' is the closest thing to pasta perfection that can be had on this continent.


Canned Spaghetti Sauce
This recipe can either be frozen or canned... We grow tomatoes and so we make it with fresh not canned tomatoes. If you must used canner please get crushed... And it takes about 6 hours to cook down. I use my electric roaster.


Spaghetti Sauce
Cook time about two and a half hours. You can speed up cook time by cooking the mushrooms and onions in a pan prior to putting them in the sauce. This sauce is not a sweet sauce. I make alot so i can freeze the rest being a basball mom i need stuff to just thaw and heat up. Even better the second day.


Sweet and spicy chilli sauce
This is a sweet yet spicy tomato sauce that I like to add to my chilli. You could put it on anything you wanted too really but it's a really good fit when mixed into a chilli I think. If you don't want the sweetness to it simply substitute the 9 roma tomatoes with 4 beefsteak tomatoes and leave out the brown sugar entirely. When prepping the peppers don't include the bell peppers' seeds into the mixture however, do include the habanero seeds.

Have you ever cooked minced beef (in bolognese sauce/beef chilli/shepherd’s pie filling) and after long hours of cooking, the beef turns dry, hard and rubbery? Here is the trick: marinate the beef with solution of water and baking soda and your minced beef will stay tender even after long hours of cooking.Just a simple tomato based pasta sauce but I used overripe cherries tomatoes, added shredded carrots and zucchini.

Roasted Tomatoes Bolognese Sauce
Circuit Breaker week 5 - Lately, it was hard to find yeast, plain flour, pasta, canned tomato, assorted cheese, baking powder etc etc.. and it happened that my son kept asking me for lasagna.
