Cooking Instructions
- 1
Soak your beans in water for 10mins then strain and pound (using motar and pestle) to peel off the skin!
- 2
Pour the beans in a bowl and wash with clean water to remove the skin and it’s ready to blend!
- 3
Blend the beans together with onions, pepper and crayfish till smooth (using blender or commercial grinder)
- 4
Add in palm oil, seasoning cubes and salt then mix very well, add water if it’s too thick(the consistency shouldn’t be too thick or watery)!
- 5
Lastly, grease your moimoi container or tin with palm-oil then add in the mixture(do not over fill) and steam cook for 30mins and it’s ready to be served with yaji or spicy palm-oil sauce😋

Southern smoky green beans Southern smoky green beans
I love a good crisp tender sautéed green bean but this isn’t that. This is old fashioned southern smoky green beans done so easy it’s almost embarrassing. It starts with regular old canned green beans but tastes slow cooked. Make enough for tmrw because it’s better the next day. If you reeeeeally wanna make this southern, add small new potatoes (small red potatoes). SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Homemade Miso Using a Pressure Cooker Homemade Miso Using a Pressure Cooker
I love the miso that my aunt in Okayama used to make, but she's elderly now and has retired from miso making... Still, I really wanted to have that miso again, so I decided to make it myself. It takes time to cook the soy beans in the usual way so I used a pressure cooker, and wow -- it really saves time! The miso is started in January or February when it's cold.-The key is to cook the soy beans until they can be mashed easily between your fingers.-It doesn't have to be totally smooth though - a few solid bits of soy bean can remain.-The miso balls (rice koji, salt and mashed soy beans made into balls) should be thrown with all your strength into the storage container, and then pressed down hard to remove any air pockets! For about 7 kg. Recipe by Nyanyo cookpad.japan
