Jiggly Grapefruits Jello

I ate this at a French dessert wagon in my neighborhood when I was a bachelorette. This recipe is my attempt to recreate the dish because it was so delicious.

If you like it super-jiggly, use 400 ml of juice.
This also makes a really nice orange jelly.
I recommend you make this in a large container and serve in smaller glasses. Recipe by Kechauru recipe

Ingredients

  1. 350 ml100% natural juice (grapefruit or orange)
  2. 1pack Powdered gelatin
  3. 1Grapefruit
  4. 1 tbspSugar (as you like - also fine without)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Peel the grapefruit and shred to bite-sizes. While doing so, keep 350 ml of the juice. You will use this to make the jelly.

  2. 2

Shake in the gelatin to the halved amount of juice. Set aside briefly. Microwave to dissolve the gelatin (if you're adding sugar, do so at this point).

  3. 3

Mix thoroughly and make sure the gelatin is dissolved fully. Combine with the rest of the juice.

  4. 4

Pour into a container. Add the grapefruit flesh (step 1) and chill in the fridge to harden.
