We can buy taro all year round, but apparently they're during the autumn and winter!

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 6Satoimo (taro)
  2. 1 dashSalt
  3. 1 tbsp*Miso
  4. 1 tbsp*Sake
  5. 1 tbsp*Mirin
  6. 1 tbsp*Sugar
  7. 1 tbsp*Water

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and peel the taro and then cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Rub in salt, then add to boiling water.

  3. 3

    When the water comes to the boil, turn the heat to low and boil for 5-6 minutes.

  4. 4

    Rinse with cold water once it's boiled.

  5. 5

    Bake the taro in a pan, mix in the combined * ingredients, and it's done.
