I aimed to make restaurant-style shrimp-with-mayonnaise using everyday ingredients!

When shelling the shrimp, it will take less time if you fold the triangular portion, Sprinkling the shrimp with sake also helps the breading stick to it evenly, and they will cook up nicely For 3~4 people. Recipe by *yuki*

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 250 gramsShrimp
  2. 1 tbspSake
  3. 11/2~2 tablespoons of each Breading (flour + katakuriko) 1:1
  4. 5 tbspSesame oil
  5. ◆Onion Mayo Dressing◆
  6. 1this time/5 stalks green onions ★Green or white onions
  7. 3 tbsp★Mayonnaise
  8. 1 tbsp★Sweet chilli sauce
  9. 1 cm★Tubed garlic
  10. 1 1/2 tsp★Sugar
  11. Accompaniments:
  12. 1as much (to taste) Shredded cabbage

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cleanly remove the shrimp shell all the way to the tail (Using black tiger shrimp or vanamay shrimp).

  2. 2

If you fold the triangular portion of the tail and pull it off as shown in the photo, then you will be able to remove it cleanly.

  3. 3

Cut a slit into the backs, remove the digestive tract, and sprinkle a tablespoon of sake.

  4. 4

Cut the green onions into small pieces (finely chop the entire onion if using white onions), and add all of ★ together in a bowl and mix. Shred the cabbage, and arrange on a plate.

  5. 5

Add flour and katakuriko into a plastic bag in a 1:1 ratio, add the shrimp, and shake to coat the shrimp.

  6. 6

Add a large amount of sesame oil to a pan, and saute the shrimp.

  7. 7

Flip the shrimp over, cover with a lid, and cook for an additional minute. They are done once they are cooked through on both sides and have curled up nicely like those shown in the photo above!

  8. 8

Remove the shrimp from the heat, add to the bowl from step 4 and toss...

  9. 9

Make a small dent in the middle if the cabbage, place the shrimp on top, and it is done! (I used 3 outer leaves of cabbage here.)

  10. 10

This time I used black tiger shrimp and green onions. Freeze and use in bentos.

  11. 11

Using the same method, I also recommend using chicken that's been cut into bite sized pieces.
