Ingredients

  1. 16 OzElbow Macaroni
  2. 4 CupsShredded Cheese (I mixed Colby, mozzarella, gruyère & sharp cheddar)
  3. 5 TbspSalted Butter
  4. 4 1/2 TbspFlour
  5. 3 CupsMilk
  6. 1 TbspGarlic Powder
  7. 1 TspPaprika
  8. 1/2 TspCayenne Powder
  9. Salt & Pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Bring noodles to boil.

  3. 3

    While noodles are boiling, melt butter in large sauce pan. Add flour and mix for 1-2 minutes over medium heat to create a roux.

    Add milk slowly to roux. Mix to remove any lumps. Heat over medium heat while mixing often until sauce thickens. Add garlic powder, paprika, cayenne powder, salt & pepper.

    Mix in 3 Cups of shredded cheese. Stir until smooth.

    Drain noodles once cooked and add to cheese sauce. Mix well.

    Add mac & cheese mixture to large casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.

    Serve hot!
