Tail-Wagging Puppy Bento

I just thought it would be nice if I could make a flat character bento instead of a 3D one.

You can replace small cutters with a straw.
If you keep your eye on the size of each part and make some minute adjustments you can come up with an even cuter balance of facial features. For 1 serving. Recipe by Yuukimichi

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1Onigiri rice ball filled with your choice of filling
  2. 1 sliceSliced cheese
  3. 1 sliceSliced cheddar cheese
  4. 1Nori seaweed

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut out a piece of sliced cheese with a large, circular cutter. Move the cutter down afterwards and cut again to create an oval shape. Use a cutter to make a tail with the remaining cheese.

  2. 2

Using a rabbit-shaped cutter, cut out another piece of sliced cheese. Once again, move the cutter down and cut once more.

  3. 3

Use a tear-shaped cutter to cut the puppy's ears out of sliced cheddar cheese. Move the cutter downwards again to make this tear shape smaller. Attach to the face you cut out in Step 1.

  4. 4

For the nose, cut it out of sliced cheese with a small, circular cutter. Attach to the face.

  5. 5

Cut or punch out the eyes and black part of the nose from nori seaweed.

  6. 6

Add the rice ball to the bento box, followed by the body you cut out in Step 2 and then the face from Step 3. Lay out the parts until a cute puppy face forms and you're done.
