I had a craving for delicious golden brown French toast.

If you prefer a more golden finish, use 50 ml of milk. The photos shows it made with 60 ml.
The trick is to fry it quickly in a hot frying pan. Since the center will not cook through, the baguette can be enjoyed nice and fluffy. Recipe by Pokoko

Ingredients

  1. 2 sliceBaguette (or sliced bread)
  2. 1●Egg
  3. 100 ml●Milk
  4. 1 tbsp●Sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Combine the ● ingredients. See Helpful Hints.

    Soak the baguette slices in the mixture.

  3. 3

    I make scrambled eggs with the remaining egg mixture.

  4. 4

    Heat a frying pan very well.

  5. 5

    Fry the bread on both sides over medium heat.

  6. 6

    Transfer to a plate and serve.
