Cabbage and Sausage III

Well this is an oldie but a good one. I hated this growing up! In my early adulthood I got some sense. This is one of my fave comfort foods. It’s pioneer food lol we eat it with white beans and cornbread. We made the beans yesterday so we’re gonna feast tonight!

Any time I am feeling bad, or when the weather is cold, this is meal I crave. Simple, fresh ingredients that come together to warm you up, and make you feel good!

I found the original recipe on Facebook and made some minor adjustments to suit my taste. I was quite pleased with the outcome it was very tasty and cooked in short amount of time.

I put this recipe together a while back and forgot to post it. The granddaughters loved it. So did my youngest daughter.

Easy and Simple, family recipe. My Father and My Aunt both use to make this. Growing up, i remember thinking i hated cabbage, until i tried this. Turned out to be a pretty good meal, cheap, tasty, and easy to make. Something i still enjoy cooking and eating.

I really love pasta and tend to make a lot of different kinds. This time I tried coming up with a recipe where I could just throw in any ingredients I had lying around for when I get peckish at night.You can use any vegetables that you have in your fridge for this recipe Feel free to boil the cabbage along with the pasta. A very tasty dish that can be prepared in countless ways. I offer you this delicious recipe with a filling made of sausage, vegetables, and Parmigiano Reggiano.

I grew up eating recipes like these. The Instapot has helped tremendously. This recipe would not have been as good. We had 4 more people show up with about an hours notice. Technology today is such a wonderful tool. Time savers in days there is no time. This recipe just melt in our mouths, everyone loved it. All grown ups and all 5 granddaughters. I hope this recipe will help someone out there too.
