Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1egg
  2. 1 tablespoonsugar (granulated sugar or honey can be used)
  3. 1 2/3 cupsmilk (about 400 ml)
  4. 1 pinchcinnamon powder, to taste
  5. Cinnamon stick, optional for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, beat the egg and sugar until thick and frothy.

    Use an electric mixer on high speed for about 1.5 minutes.

    Bring the milk to a boil and remove any film that forms on the surface.

    Pour half of the beaten egg mixture into a heatproof glass and add the hot milk.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon powder.

    Instead of cinnamon, you can use 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder for a coffee flavor or 1 teaspoon of matcha powder for a matcha flavor. Feel free to customize.
