Quite simply christmas in a cup, best seved cold but just as delicious heated through
Cooking Instructions

Combine milk, cream, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla seeds and the pods into a large saucepan. Bring to the boil slowly then remove from the heat

Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until thick ribons form, then slowly add and whish into the milk mixture

Add the Rum and continue slowly whisking with a hand whisk. Rum can be substitued for brandy.

Allow to steep over night in the fridge

Sieve out the mixture removing the cinnamon and vanilla pods
- 6
Whisk egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold into the milk mixture and serve in christmasy glasses or mugs

Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick, with a mini gingerbread man at the side to dip in :)

If heating through serve before allowing to steep and do not add the egg whites. Do not reheat
