Ingredients

  1. 150 gmsurad dal
  2. 75 gmsrice
  3. 100 gmsjaggery powder
  4. 1 tbspsugar
  5. 1tsp cardamom powder
  6. 3 tbspghee
  7. 2 tbspfresh coconut chopped
  8. slicesSome coconut
  9. Halftsp salt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash, soak dal and rice separately

    Soak for 6 hours grind separately. First dal then rice

    Mix dal and rice paste

  4. 4

    Properly add salt and allow for fermentation for 6 hours.

    Add jaggery powder, sugar,cardamom powder into the batter. Mix it properly

    Take ghee in a Kadai Add the whole batter and place some coconut slices. Keep one small glass of water in between the pitha cover the pitha

  7. 7

    After 25 min gradually remove the glass and flip it,cook both sides. Cut once it gets cool.
