Will start by marinating the beef cubes.

Put the beef cubes in a bowl...add garlic and ginger paste, bottle top of dark soy sauce, salt, a dash of black pepper, 20-30ml corn oil

Mix the ingredients together gently, cover and put in the fridge for 15mins max

As the marination sets in, peel the potatoes, wash them, and boil them whole in a pot.

As the potatoes are boiling and the marination still setting in...cut juliennes of green bell pepper and juliennes of onions

Check your potatoes to avoid them being soggy...reduce the fire

In a pan, heat some corn oil, pick you meat from the fridge n place in the pan on high heat, to seal the pores to avoid the marination from sipping out...

While meat is still searing, drain the water from the potatoes in a bowl...mash the potatoes completely to avoid lumps...set it aside,

After sealing the pores make sure the meat has dried of any excess water.add the onions and stir, stir until the onions have cooked completely.add the bell peppers stir and let it cook for 3mins....

In a bowl mix the corn starch in a bowl and pour it on the meat...add 250ml of water....to form a sauce for the beef,

Bring it to a boil, and your beef is ready to serve.

Put the mashed potatoes on fire again...add 100ml of milk....mix it gently, you can add a pinch of nutmeg for taste, the potatoes are ready to serve.
